How to Register
Please register early. To register by phone, call (423) 892-3085. If you are a new client, please ask for an Account Executive. Be ready with your desired course name and date, and your company billing information, club membership number, or credit card. If you are a club member or have a prepaid coupon, dial extension 1050. You may also fax your request to us at (423) 954-1786 or e-mail to register@nh-chatt.com.
Invoices are sent when you register. Payment is due upon receipt and must be received seven days prior to your class to guarantee your reservation. New Horizons accepts checks, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. If you have a group of four or more, call us and inquire about a discount.
On the Day of Class
Classes begin on time. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your class time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled class, your seat may be given to a waiting client. Please call New Horizons if you anticipate a late arrival.
It is a good idea to bring a sweater or jacket because room temperatures may vary. If you are retaking a class, please bring your courseware.
Free Retake Benefit
Clients may retake classes, on a space-available basis, within six months
of the date of the original class. Club members may retake classes during
the length of their club contract. Please register for your free retakes
through your Account Executive.
Course Prerequisites
All classes except Computers Made Easy and Beginning Windows have required
prerequisites. Our Account Executives will be happy to provide you with
course outlines so that you may match your current knowledge and skill
level with course level objectives. All of our intermediate and advanced
level courses build upon skills developed in beginning level courses. Our
Skills Assessment Tests can also help determine your current level. Ask
your Account Executive for details.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All Classes
Any class may be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of New Horizons. If you cannot attend a class for which you hold a reservation, you should notify New Horizons at (423) 892-3085 ext. 1050, within the time limitations listed below for your class.
PC Application Classes – If you need to cancel or reschedule your class reservation, notify New Horizons five (5) or more business days before your scheduled class. This will assure transfer or refund of your tuition. Cancellation or rescheduling requests received less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled class date will not receive a refund or cancellation of invoice.
Corporate Coupon holders will forfeit a coupon if they fail to cancel or reschedule less than five (5) business days prior to class.
Club Members are subject to a $50 registration fee for cancellations/ rescheduling received with less than five (5) business days’ notice for classes within their club. All cancellation fees must be paid before the club member may attend other classes.
Technical Classes
A fee of the full amount of the class will be assessed for rescheduling or canceling the class with less than ten (10) business days’ notice. For more information regarding the policy, please contact your Account Executive.
Club memberships and technical classes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. All recording devices, either audio or video, are strictly prohibited in any class or special presentation. New Horizons Computer Learning Center reserves the right to change workshop class names, prices, dates, times, content, and other policies without prior notification.
